En Plein Air Painting Competition

Prepare your paintbrushes! The 2026 En Plein Air painting competition takes place from September 17 - 20.

Anyone age 17 and up may enter the adult competition by paying the $50 registration fee (if applicable) and submitting the form linked below. The children's category is open to ages 1-16 and does not require registration, entry for the youth competition is free.

Anyone participating in the competition must check in at The Quarry - 65 East West Road on September 17, 18, or 19 between 8am and noon to have your painting surface stamped. You only need to check in once, you do not need to check in every day.

There is a 2 painting maximum per person.

The competition ends on September 20 with painting drop off at 10am, judging at 11:30am, exhibitions open tot he public at 12pm, awards announcements at 1pm, peoples choice at 1:30. Paintings must be picked up at 7pm on the 20th.
